I screen for reading difficulties both adults and children
I screen for Irlen Syndrome(See Irlen.com). The children and adults I screen have difficulty seeing words on the printed page, handwriting is poor, and, or for major headaches, stomachaches due to reading. People who cannot stay on the printed page for a long time, and or fall asleep while reading. People who have glare on their page that they are reading.

What is your primary product or service?
Educational Service. I screen children and adults who have reading difficulties(Irlen Syndrome-See Irlen.com), and handwriting is considerably poor. children who are doing poorly in school in both academics and behavior.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been doing this service for over 25 years in different school districts, and have been trained and certified by the Irlen Institute as a senior screener.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I do something that no other person does simply because children and adults do not know they have this problem. These adults and children think that whatever they see another person sees the same. I screen, then diagnose, and then try to correct the problem. People have spent years not knowing they have Irlen Syndrome. Once adults and children understand they have this problem we can try to correct it. Has nothing to do with eye correction.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location. I do travel to other people's homes to screen if they desire.

That I have corrected the problem for them and life can return to normal again. Also, people who have the problem corrected no longer feel the tag of "stupid" that others have applied to them.
